At the tip of my tongue

I wonder how I ever lived
Without the love I know you give
It very nearly makes me cry
To think of time we let go by

So many words I want to say
So many, but can’t find a way

I want to be a part of you
The heart that beats inside of you
I want to change the world you know
Change the colours and make them glow

So many words I want to say
Too many, I wish I knew a way

I love you, but that is so not all
Saying just this does sound so small
All the love songs in this our world
I wish to sing in my own words

So many words I want to say
So many, just can’t find a way

Maybe you should look into my eyes
That way I’m sure you’ll see no lies
Maybe I shouldn’t say a thing
Just let you see the joy you bring

So many words I want to say
So many, love will tell its way

I like the repetiton and the rhyming added a great flow to the whole poem. Beautiful poem here!

    Thank you for entering!
