A Present

I dreamt I saw an apple and yes it was for you
For it was very different, it was the colour blue
It was a special apple for if you were to bite
You would feel so much better and all would be put right.

I'm sending you this apple upon a silver beam
You'll get it whilst your sleeping to wake you from your dream
The fruit will taste of nectar so eat it, you will see
This is a healing present that's sent to you from me.

    First of all, i would like to thank you for entering this contest, just by doing this, you are giving hope to everyone that this has affected. This is exactly what i was looking for, a sweet, simple poem that i could fit in a card. This fits perfectly with what is happening and would not only give hope to him, but would also give hope to his family. Great work! Thanks again for entering and good luck in the contest.
