Life's unfeeling touch once tore,
Shadowing the light.
Everything worth fighting for,
Faded out of sight.
I ached for real feeling,
This heart couldn't hold on.
I realize what was missing,
It was you all along.
My heart is locked inside,
Yet you hold the key.
I can't deny, though I've tried,
Your eyes see into me.
I'm the wilted flower,
Your kiss the needed light.
Emotions overpower,
True love can now take flight.
So angelic and unholy,
To good to be true.
I found another like me,
