My Illegal Lady Absinthe

Ellie
Allex
Lexis
Sisser
Elixir
Lady E
dressed in Green
Sharp as a shot

"Lady E-
Elixir,
Likes her
mixers,
Add some sugar
She will turn pure
WHITE!"

Watch her dance in water:
She swirls
and twirls
and whirls
about.

Dizzying
Addicting
Unrestricting
Hallucinating

Bitter Sweet
living...

Ha! This was a fun little piece that flirts with you just like La Fee Verte. The first five lines had me guessing and laughing at the same time. Very good art!

As for the whole "not enough thujone" thing, you can get a booster called Le Extreme d' Absente from my online supplier, alandia.de, and add a measure of that to your absinthe. Alandia also has the best absinthes available, plus many other novelties. One doctored glass with the boost is at least as much as was known back in the good old daze. I've hummed pretty hard on about 7 of those in one sitting, but yeah, thujone is more addictive than alcohol, and it's not a good idea for anyone who's had seizures or grinds their teeth. The boost is great in coffee, soda (Sprite), lemonade, wine (sorta), but not beer (unless you're desperate). There are other boosts, but they're not as good as Le Extreme.

If you want to try something more exotic than absinthe, look for Mandragora at Alandia. It's "witch's whiskey", featuring mandrake root!

Ah . . . an ode to la Fée Verte. Playful and funny. Wonderfully descriptive piece. Alas, there is not enough thujone to be addicting or hallucinating in absinthe.

      Actually

In the predeluted Absinthe they sell today, it doesn't act as a hallucinogen, but the undeluted smaller bottles that are extremely hard to find were known as liquid hallucinogens. There are recipes to make your own weaker version that don't really act as a hallucinogen also.
