Kicked off the Track team,
Since it might "hurt the baby"
Kicked out of GSA
And the abstinence club with out a care or maybe.
Kicked off the soccer team
"its too violent and i'll loose my edge"
Even off student counsel
because too the student body i'll send the wrong message.
My math teacher freaks out
when ever i sneeze
and my CWI teacher and i
can no longer agree.
Its like i commited a crime
and its only the first six weeks
and all because my english teacher
had to let the news leak.
I had to tell my teachers,
that much was a fact
but i wasnt ready for the students to know
and i wasnt ready for how they'd react.
If you've ever walked in a noisy room
and all the talking just stops
try doing that 6 times a day AND in the lunchroom
thers nothing else that will top.
Just because I'm pregnant
and have been for six weeks and two days
its like everyone i've ever known
has an opinion they want to share and say.
But no one will say what they think to my face
always behind my back
but then again
how else did i think they were going to react?

I found out today that im exactly 6 weeks and two days
((I probably could have figured that out myself but w/e))
For those who are going to ask let me save you the trouble:
1. No im not getting an abortion
2.I dont know what im going to do after i give birth
3. Yes i am 16 and no i dont regret this.
Whats done is done, i've learned my lesson but theres no point in dwelling on the if onlies and now i've got to figure out the now.

dont go too out of your way to rhyme
make the readers care about the content of your poetry and not words that rhyme with 'edge'
