Then and Now

We've been through thick and thin together,
You have taught me a lot about life, and likewise I have contributed to yours,
We've been through the fire,
We've walked through the flame,
We've endured all the pain,
You got my back,
And I got you covered,
We're in this together and forever we'll remain,
And together we both got dropped into the game,
Whenever I'm in need you supply my every desire,
You are the fire of my soul,
The steer to my wheel,
The wind beneath my wings,
The reason why I sing,
You keep me grounded,
You make me happy,
And you fill my heart full of grain,
And forever you will always remain,

That was then.......

Now I feel different loving you got hard making our relationship more difficult,
Being with you used to make my heart burst,
Yet without you it feels like I'm trapped in a parallel universe,
Is this a curse?
I'm stuck and if feels my emotions have been nipped and tucked,
No anestesia,
Like my soul has been ripped and theres no way to fix it,
Is this how it feels to lose love?
Will there be another that makes me feel the like above,
Or will you find another lover,
Maybe fate has another plan,
I know the way I left things was scan,
Yet you still stand and watch me go through the troubles of a man,
I don't know what to say,
What can I say?
Someday we can get it right,
But as this moment that moment seems out of sight,
Til then I must  make things between us alright,
Its hard to say this without a tear in my eye,
And saying it might just make you cry,
But how about giving somebody else a try,
I will forever love you,
And you will always be my boo,
And if its meant to be Father God will see us through
