Bandit you were my
Friend in dark times.
I remember raising
you from a pup.
my little Yorkshire
terrier ball of endless energy.
you would lick my face
when i would ping your ear.
although i have lost
you i will not forget you.
you were the worlds
greatest puppy.
I love you bandit
my Yorkshire terrier star.
Author notes

I am sorry you lost your Bandit, but this is a beautiful tribute to him, and I am sure he can feel your love where he is now.
Unfortunately this doesn't fit the contest, and I will have to disqualify it. -
seems you got the silver you asked for LOL congrats. Thanks for entering
-
Spelling-wise, you used "i" instead of "I" and "world" instead of "world's". Otherwise, a very tender, melancholy poem. To have a creature so full of life silenced is indeed heartbreaking. Thank you for your entry.
