To my Friends with love

It's a New Year
I have a long path to walk
Six and a half weeks of radiation
For which I am grateful

Grateful because
it will stop the cancer returning

It's a New Year
I have a long path to ride
New foster children coming into my care
For which I am grateful

grateful because
I can help them and show them love

It's a New Year
I have a long journey through life
Counselling the hurting and those in need
For which I am grateful

Grateful because
I know they will be happier and wiser after therapy

It's a New Year
I have a creative jungle to explore

Grateful because
I have so many wonderful like minded friend who I love dearly.

ALL OF YOU HERE
Thank you for years of friendship, kindness and support.

Much Love to you all
Jan

Jan, this poem shows the way you always look at the positive. I have learned so much from your wise advice and am so glad I have a new friend in you. I am here for you through this. Many blessings..Patty

Your positive attitude is contagious. You look at what you can be thankful for, instead of, what could pull you down. I love how you are able to find the silver lining in every cloud. What a blessing you are!
I aslo caught the "I have a creative jungle to explore" line-a jungle can hold a certain beauty and at the same time hold hidden dangers-you have to tread through carefully.
    Wonderful, uplifting write~

    Dear Janice,

While this poem and its predecessor are, it seems to me, at odds with "Blinded by Living", I heartily applaud its positive message and wish you every blessing in the coming year, especially with your treatment.
With applause, love and hugs, XXX Hugh.
