Missing Memorys

Missing you hurts more than you know.
When ever someone asks if I miss you I smile and say no.
Memories of you and me.
Used to fill me up with glee.
Now they haunt me in my sleep.
These memories of us I can not keep.
Move on they tell me, Move on.
Oh I only wish I could,
If only I could I would.
But I keep it inside and go on pretending.
While the pain grows and grows.
Because missing you hurts more than you know.

i know how that feels...oh do i...thank you for entering, I really liked reading your poem. It is always so hard to lose love then to hide your feelings, so much harder. I love how your poem flows so nicly.

It is so hard when we lose love, and
to protect ourselves we deny any pain
or sorrow. It is step one in working
through it. you really put it so well
    in this poem.
