Lovers' Hearts

from cock-crow till sundown
I shall play for you
and dance, and sing, and hum a tune
nothing impossible you may ask
for lovers' hearts are here to last

I agree with Agelast. Oddly enough, as I read this I thought of diddies sung as work was being done (and with my imagination), I also thought of (for example) mountain ranges and Asians tending to rice paddies or cobblestone roads between closely build buildings. Diddies sung by farmers or tailors. Well done, sister. Write on.

Ah, this seems like some awesome little song that an old woman would sing to herself, some long lost rhyme that's like, really important to her. good job.
