Lightning flashes
Across the sky
The storm, it rages
In the night
A broken love
A single tear
A throbbing misery
And the thunder rolls
You walked away
I watched you go
But I don’t want to believe it
Please, it cannot be true
The wind whips around me
The lightning crackles in the sky
The rain it pores down in torrents
And again… the thunder rolls
My dripping hair
Is like cold whips on my face
It flies around me
In the wind
Then from a distance
I think I see you coming back
You are coming back to me…
Please, let it be true
You wrap your arms around me
And the lightning flares
At that very moment, I know it will be alright
And the thunder… it ends.
