Silence is welcomed by a hug,
And tears are gone with one kiss.
Eyes interlock to each other,
And the surroundings turn into pure bliss.
We wake up each day with a smile,
And end each noon with a laugh.
Our hearts started off as just one,
But now there together; two halves.
Perfection is always just right,
So we make each other feel perfect.
I never take note of his flaws,
And he treats me with manly respect.
We think and we learn together,
And our jokes are a secret of love,
We eloped when we realized we were destiny,
And i know he was a gift from above.
And tears are gone with one kiss.
Eyes interlock to each other,
And the surroundings turn into pure bliss.
We wake up each day with a smile,
And end each noon with a laugh.
Our hearts started off as just one,
But now there together; two halves.
Perfection is always just right,
So we make each other feel perfect.
I never take note of his flaws,
And he treats me with manly respect.
We think and we learn together,
And our jokes are a secret of love,
We eloped when we realized we were destiny,
And i know he was a gift from above.
Author notes
I guess i always dream about meeting a man that understands me, and that is my happily ever after.. nothing else, but simple love.
At first i was going to write about how my happily ever after would be to die a virgin with no love, because its the easiest way out of life and then i realized that isnt happily ending your life.. its depressing.

This was really good. I feel the same way, except I don't want a man.

I really like your first two lines - they say so much. Lonliness can be ended with just a hug and a kiss.
good luck in your contest.
