Twin intuition and admiration.
She was always the strong one
There was something different about her, special.
Once, just once
Which was enough
Her twin intuition switched on.
Little girls with blonde pigtails and pretty skirts.
We loved playing together
and adventuring on our own.
We had a long driveway
Me and my bike would go riding.
One day stuck in the pebbles
I went down,
a long way from home
the tears started falling.
Bianca, up in the house
felt a vibe.
Sensed something
wasn’t right with me.
Puffy red eyes, a grazed knee
And feeling all alone,
but after only a few minutes
I looked up and saw her running.
I was so relieved
to see her coming.
Over the years she might not
Have had the switch on again.
All-though in ways she has.
As have I.
I love my sister
With more then my heart
she is the one to me,
most admired.

Makes me really really wish I had a sister. I can imagine what a great bond this is!! I have two brothers who I love to bits!!! So could say the same things to them...
But a twin sister must be a blessing!! This is a wonderful tribute... you write with such affection and love. Beautiful sweetie!!

It is amazing to have a twin sister, sometimes we do fight, like siblings do lol, but mostly we share a very close bond, that I always appreciate I have a half brother who im not close to at all, so im jealous of you for that reason lol, I would love to be chummy etc with my bro , doesnt mean it wont happen

My favorite person in the world is my Granny and she has a twin sister. Twins actually run in my family so I hope to have them! This was very wonderful and full of so much tender admiration it most definitley belongs in this contest, good luck.
