with a hand thrown out into the crashing winds
The aftermath of destruction leaves us breathless
it whispers in the trees
and the comfort
simmering down there in the region of my stomach
carrion
theres a reason for my madness, dear

Haha, I'm glad you like my stuff so much!

This poem leaves me wondering if the impulse to laugh is purposed or not...the last line was just so funny to me. The poem is serious, right up to that line.
And that's not a bad thing.
Thankyou for entering my contest.

You are very welcome.
That last line was not supposed to be funny, but when you mentioned it, I went back and read it again, and I can totally see why you could take it that way.
Excellent contest.
