Ticklish eye look around
Here and there I hear them laughing
Little bells tinkling in the night
Walk the woods where faeries will be found
Little child
Princess girl
Faeries watch carefully within the trees
Behind every mushroom
Behind every blade of grass
Close your eyes and listen carefully
Faeries laugh to see you search
Little hands covering little mouths
Mischievous laughter tickling your ears
Take a deep breath
And go back home
Go to sleep and dream alone
While faeries dance outside your window
Laughing and playing
Watching you dream
With gossamer wings that spark in the dark
Laughing eyes that saw you searching
And tiny toes that tread carefully your footprints
Faeries dancing where a moment before you stood
Looking for magic in the forest
Faeries in the dark.
