The Nazi Connection
Our leader pretends to be a devout Christian,
Courting the Conservative Christian Coalitions;
Attending church, reading scripture no question,
On any moral question, adopts a religious position.
He administers our government the same way,
Telling one and all he follows his conscience;
He will talk up his devout concerns all day,
Momentous events Gods' will, not coincidence.
Yet buried deep in his past, an ugly truth resides.
Ancestors owned companies trading with Nazi Germany.
Sold steel to Third Reich, and loaned them money besides,
They profited greatly from trading with America’s enemy.
The trust fund supporting our leader is soiled with death;
Nazi steel littered Europe with countless corpses, right and left

A Shakesperean Sonnet form, a bit off of iambic pentameter, but still rhyming. Just read about the Prescott Bush-nazi connex today, so wanted to get a poem out on it.
