lay in a field
wind ruffles my hair
peace consumes my body
a sun set marks the end
and something new
stars shine bright
a chilly wave of wind runs through the grass
cools my body
then i nood to sleep

very peaceful vision. nice attempt at a poem, although i feel there could have been a little more added to this to make it not sound like a rush job or throw together. the contest will not be judged for a week, so if you are in the mood to expand on your writing, i will be looking back before i make all final decisions. please forgive me if my honesty is sounding harsh, but as a former site moderator i was trained to be honest with all writers as best and easy as i can. you may delete this comment also, as u wish. i will come back as i said.
