I think of that night
So many years ago
When we two said
My darling I love you so
We sat beneath an old Oak tree
As the wind blew gently by
Looking up at stars so bright
And the moon was full up high
In our hands we gently held
The future of our life
You had asked me if I
Would be your loving wife
Oh how the beauty of your words
Just melted my heart away
I said yes, my darling I will
And I am still your wife today
Over the years our gentle love
Brought us through the many days
That weren't always so kind
But always gentle in it's way

Brought us through the many days
That weren't always so kind
But always gentle in it's way "
