return to me

Through eyes of rippling tear,
droplet’s kiss splashes remembrance on her graceful face
as she awaits stream’s smiles to awaken reality,
calling gently through reflection of time,
‘Return to me.’
Radiance of his spirit continued speaking
on tranquil waters,
mirroring beauty of heart’s desire~
in silent stillness lay.
Staring outward.
Hoping inward.

When it comes to rhyme or form or free verse, you can do it all. Thanks for entering and good luck!

What a great entry you have here gn. What I found key to the form is a smooth, logical middle section and you've done very well with that. It flows so nicely. Good luck in future round(s)

If turned sideways, even the shape of your piece reflects angel wings. You have again raised the bar in this contest my friend. An exceptional entry making this one of the toughest competitions in this rounds contest yet.

    Well done.

My favorite part is the beauty of that gentle call, "return to me" ~ as if it were always known within.

A wonderfully fluid and gentle flow in this piece - and this a first-time palindrome... Hard to believe. You have presented a beauty with grace and elegance.

    Thank you for this. ~Pamela

This was a wonderful interpretation of this picture. I enjoyed the duality of the approach. It was truly a mirror reflection. It is amazing what we can create when challenged with a new form. It was my first time too. Peace, Liz

going, Your first attempt and it is absolutely, positively, fantastic. Rich with imagery and flowing so soft and smooth from the page straight to my heart you have left me breathless with your words penned. What a beautiful reflection of the image given you have created here with your pen that drips of golden ink. Thank you for sharing with all of us and best wishes in the contest. Love and God bless you my friend, Joyce

    beautiful...

...it is as though they are both calling from opposite ends to each other. I hope their dreams came true in the end.

This is a very moving piece and you have conquered the form with something beautiful.
