Pen and Bone

 

tattooed designs

tethered between teeth.

nervous habits, 

nail bitting,

chewing on the bone.

the taste of marrow.

 

macabre bruises

surround envy stained eyes;

ruptured vessels,

smudged mascara,

overdoses.

 

tattered sleeves

are stained

with cruel intentions.

blackened blood.

< I am prepared for this contest, and I will make all deadlines that are given to me (unless the case of a medical reason or emergency comes up) if I know I will not be around AP that much at one point (due to things like school, vacations) I will notify Ryan ahead of time.

    Interesting. It doesn't match up to a lot of the other pieces, as a poem itself, but it does show that you have a superb amount of talent. I don't know if that makes sense but I feel that you have much better behind you. Though I did like the poem as the imagery did an excellent job in producing what was behind it. Well done.     I feel you could've dug deeper for this and would like to see what else you have. There's a typo on L14 and the font was so very hard to read...but content-wise I believe you have potential.
