   hold me close and near
      sway to the music
          as I whisper in your ear...

Mmmm...I love you so much
    and I love being in your arms
      I'm so very happy
        to be held so near and warm

Lost in the melody
   with no words to the song
    Just being together; lost in love
      this is where we belong

Feels so right
  as our hearts intermingle
    wonderful sensations flow through us
      as our bodies sway together...
        warm, flowing tingle

  Dance the dance of love with me;
    let us sway to and fro
      celebrate intense passion

    This is a stunningly breath taking poetic master piece.
    I love the visuals you get. I found my self swaying the the chair as I read along thinking of dancing with my husband. I the love the simple sweet lush words you've written that entwine you within your mesmeric words.

    Nice poem. Makes we want to dance in the arms of a lover if I had one. Nice take on the word "sway." I don't know if it was intentional, but I noticed titles to more than a few love songs in the piece.

    This really reminds me of the song, Move Closer, and your poem is equally warm. Thank goodness romance is still living through magical and intoxicating words like yours.     reminds me of the long, geaceful lines of the swaying puss willows, as they dance thier own dance, i suppose as much in love wi' the wind as it is wi' them. beautiful, love inspires such imagry, such sensual, subtle beauty. should we all be so blessed as to catch even one single moment like this... one born on an impuls, and left to just... sway. perfect lovely,

    I love romantic poetry and this is one excellent example of the genre.

    Beautifully crafted with a great metre to it.

    I love the formatting to - it sways.

    I like the style you used with this poem. I realy like the opening and closing stanzas. In the first line it seems odd for the word baby there. Maybe it is just how I read it but it seems like a bar pick up line. I like the intimacy you are going for with "baby" but I think a different word would work better here. Just a thought. Good job overall.

    I like the last word, like trees in a breeze of love or a mother rocking her baby to sleep, just a nice gentle word full of innuendos. I don't know if it needs more emphasis then just to be alone and at the end. But, that is for you to decide. Very gentle very peaceful poem. Love, Tom B.
