There you sit in your disguise
Left alone to find your way
Tears roll down regretful eyes
Nothing more for us to say
Prayed to God for your demise
Life begins anew today

Like Billy Ray.
Travis Twitt sang a song Here's A Quarter Call Someone Who Cares? I always liked that song and when someone that had cheated started talking about being taken back, I just would sing the song. A good poem. -

So much pain and so much said in so few words. I liked how you kept is simple yet so descriptive.

"Prayed to God for your demise"
I've done that. Wished so badly for them to just once trip up and fall flat on their face. Well...he never did. But, like your poem says "Life begins anew today" and it does...eventually.
I really liked how you rhymed all through this, and I didn't even notice it did 'til I looked back over it. The rhythm also is really nice.
Thankyou for entering my contest. Good Luck!
