Baby is having trouble sleeping
He stays wide awake,
Fairies dance around the room
Dreams from the baby, they do take.
He lays in his bed
Wrapped up tightly, like a bug,
The Fairies check to make sure
That he is all nice and snug.
They sing him a little tune
And gently rock him to sleep,
They leave the room quietly
Without making a single peep.

Ahhh. so sweet, especially here
Wrapped up tightly, like a bug,

That he is all nice and snug.

Oh my gosh, this poem made me smile the entire time. You wrote about two of my favorite things, and it's such a lovely, sweet write! Great poem.

Awww this was adorable... it really makes me anxious to have a little child.
This was very well written, the rhyming though simple was not forced in anyway, the imagery was gorgeous and of course the message was sweet.
Well done and good luck.

Oh this is cute. At first it scared me a bit thinking of fairies stealing a babys dreams...but then I reasoned that you must have meant bad dreams ... I'm not real quick lol. Thanks for your entry.
