With dazzling light the heaven's rain
a mantle to touch the soul
parting the darkness asunder
and in deliverance I fly.
As new flower blooms in spring
my heart is opened wide
to hear the song of blessedness
that feathers throughout my being.
Dancing in the shallows
I see my essence reflected
this load that once was so heavy
has been taken into His care.
I now feel release and harmony
in union with this earth
this world I now view through new eyes
following liberty's direction.
A safety never there before
takes up residence deep within
as fulfillment overwhelms me
I skip barefoot in the sand.
