Within my heart there beats a clock
that guides and shows the way
to live my life in tune with all
with care and never stray.
The ticking comes from deep within
it is the essence that is me
resonating in hope for all
that one day we'll be free.
Freedom from the darkness
that often masks the light,
my strength and will of purpose
will help me to set things right.
In harmony with others
we travel this sacred road
to make the world a better place
and work to lighten many loads.
In prayer to the Almighty
even though viewed through different eyes
this plea for guidance along the way
I know He hears our cries.

I absolutely love this. This line - "In prayer to the Almighty
even though viewed through different eyes" - sticks out strongly, for there are so many beliefs out here in this huge ball of rock, yet it all comes down to one prime moment.
