I will upset the apple cart
So willingly. And no doubt –
The world will stay so far apart,
No inner way and no out.
The cat is looking straight ahead.
Its eyes are empty, green and glimpsing
The trigger close to the head
And only one word after missing.
The hesitation that I hate
The things so long appreciated
Will stay behind. The open Gate
Will make them so exaggerated.
One feeling, equal to whomever,
Demanding answers to be found:
Where is another spacy level
And who will win the mortal round…

Your rhyme sort of took over this as I read it, and I found I was anticipating the next rhyme so much, that the poem lost all meaning for me.
