Let me ask you a question,
A question thats been running 'round
Inside my head.
Who are the actors?
Are they the celebs on magazine covers,
Or the ones given special awards.
No? Then who are the real actors?
Are they the ones who pass you in the halls
Or on the street?
Do they cover it all up and pretend to be something
That they really aren't?
Who are the actors?
Is your next door neighbor, or even your best friend
Just some of the actors that blend in our world?
Are they the only actors?
What about the girl with the blue hair?
Or what about the lifeless girl that's always on honor roll?
Are we all actors?
If there are always actors around,
How will I know who is and isn't?
Just make it simple for me please
And just tell me,
Who exactly are the actors?????

What a fascinating question. I never even considered people who pretend [to be someone else besides their true self] could be called "actors". And with a comparison to celebrities, this makes it even more an enjoyable read. Nice analyzation!
