As I crawl at your feet,
Bone weary and dignity shattered,
Half afraid that should our eyes meet,
You’ll frown upon a body battered.
But I should know by now
That you’d accept my stupidity;
My stance taken in this latest row.
Like you I defend myself rigidly,
An innate desire to always be knowing.
Yet sometime we have to accept the fact
That others are more knowledgeable owing
To past experience in the great act.
Even after this I’ll call you friends,
Defend your stance to the world’s ends.
Author notes
This one, like most poems/stories that I write, was concieved a few minutes before writing and so needs a lot of work.

This is the best sort of writing when you write what comes to you, it can't be truer and rawer than that.As is shown here, great work!
