I want to love you
Really I do
So it seems though
I don’t love you anymore
All I want is for you to walk out that door
I want to kiss you
Really I do
But I can’t go on
Kissing unpassionate lips
And holding unswaying hips
I want to miss you
Really I do
But I don’t anymore
Even though I try
Over you I will never cry

Love is a great gift that can easily be replaced, perhaps that's why no one should grow attached? I loved this piece, another great write from Poetic Grace.

This is a hard place to be in. When you know the season is gone and you know the time has come to an end, but you hate to be the first one to say good bye. A wonderful write. Very nice. I hope you do well in the contest.
