Two Entwined hearts

Missing image
if they could see us now...
the long breath-taking stares
feelings, swarming like a kaleidoscope of
beautiful butterflies
waking emotions that once were thought dead,
come alive with brand new meaning and purpose

if they could hear...
moans and sighs of excitement,
coming from each heated embrace, as we draw near
to old familiar signs of loves' temptations

if only they could know..
what we're doing now
they would witness...

                              ...two entwined hearts

Wow, romance blooming in this one! So feminine, so emotionally powerful...The pull of one's heart is strong in this write! As butterflies are reborn from the caterpillar, so love can renew us from what we were to who we can become, when there is true love...You have beautifully thought out this and I love it. Love it!

"kaleidoscope of beautiful butterflies come alive"

Great metaphor there. This poem was beautifully passionate and a wonderful read. I love the color changes... It really emphasizes what you're saying. And the bear picture is so cute!

Thank you for entering my contest!
