Wouldn't it be great to have the midas touch!
So that everything I touched wouldn't turn to dust!
And everything around would be shiny and gold!
And nothing would ever rust or get old!
Oh what I'd do to make beautiful and not destroy!
Even at the expense of framing all I enjoy
in glamourous gold and beautiful shine
it's better than me destroying things all the time.

I wrote this because it seems all I do is wreck things. Everything i touch is worse off for the encounter. It's kind of self pity, but its also truth. I want to do good. I'm not a bad person, but sometimes when I try to do the right thing, it turns out wrong.

this is very well written, and i enjoyed reading it, but im nearly sure that its not completely true. how could it be, seeing as all this beautiful poetry you write cant just be a fluke.
