Our Journey - Part One






When the storm brewed, many tugged,
tried to pull me down.
I scream then feel your hand outstretch
and grab for mine.

Your soul shone bright,
Your heart closed up to love no more.
Never could I have anticipated such pleasure
in our meeting,
from that moment on you were
the centre of my attention.

Together we grew and shared love came
it knew no limitations.
We started believing in one another,
You created such happiness in me.
The pleasure, truly is all mine,
to return it.



I float on cloud nine in our fairytale,
written just for us.
Always remembering our first date,
that pink sunset over coral reefed seas.
Sitting on warm sand, we sipped
on French champagne.
You held me close and it felt so right.

The sparkle in my eye came out.
it is still here today
and sweetheart,
it will forever stay.

    That was great!!! I didn't even know it was a wordbank poem until I got to the authors notes!! So that really says something... I can usually tell before I'm told... great writing! Such a wonderful romantic feel!
