The thought sends chills
Through my body
The very thought of you
Gives me butterflies
And leaves me feeling lightheaded
You have reserected a part of me
That had died deep inside
You have made my heart beat again
And brought my soul out of the dark
Every falling tear
Has been kissed away
& you my savior…
Are left with salty lips
Gentle, soft lips
That glisten with my tears
& your eyes
So dark a blue
They see right through me
I can hide nothing
& it is as I look into those eyes
Those deep seas of rumbling emotions
That I realize I feel
In a way I haven’t in a long time
I realize with my heart soaring
That I love you
