I know when to
Keep my mouth closed.
I'm just another girl
Together and composed.
Of course you couldn't see
The tears within my eyes.
I'm just another figure
Buried inside your lies.
My laughter doesn't hide
That inside, I'm slowly dying.
It doesn't hide the fact
That my soul is quickly fleeing.
I never know when to
Cry if you are here.
But you should know by now
I'm not what I appear.
Of course you wouldn't see
The tears within my eyes.
You're mouth is full of reasoning
And more-than-enough goodbyes.
The smiles cannot hide
That inside, I'm lost and crying.
The tears I shed, cannot be seen
In your eyes, I'm flying.
Of course I didn't show
The tears within my eyes.
I held my head up; so proud
Pushing away my cries.
Author notes
Silenced Tears. Self explanatory. I made this poem mostly because it's who I am, what I want to be rather.
There's a lot of opposites in this poem. Like "slowly" and "quickly" that I put in on purpose.

This was a nice piece, good, clear idea. Just remember to put your stamp on it.
