This is a piece I wrote when I was in middle school. It's about these girls who pretended to be my friend for their own gain.
Fake Friends.
They think their being nice when they say Hi once or twice.
Fake Friends.
When I want to hang out, their always busy.
When I walk into the room smiling they don't care but I listen when their happy.
When you call them on their cells to shop at the mall, they always tell you next time.
I go there alone and see them chatting in the cafe.
Fake Friends.
They give you fake numbers to see if you call.
Fake Friends.
They start all the rumors that make you sad.
Fake Friends.
They think their being nice when they say Hi once or twice.
