I feel the pain of your hands on my heart,
Twisting and turning either way,
Squeezing it like a sponge,
And throwing it into the dust,
Leaving it there to rot.
The light within begins to turn black,
Spawning horrible creatures from it,
Slivering around inside,
Drinking of the spoiled blood,
Scratching at the tender flesh,
Trying to break free.
The creature's go through a hole,
Slivering in and out,
As if they reside in its chambers,
Never leaving their tomb,
Waiting to be placed back,
Into the cavity of my chest,
Where it will corrupted my mind and soul.
Darkness feels as it has taken me over,
The light that's left is slowly fading,
I fear it shall consume me for good,
Unless someone has the power to heal,
To undo what has happened,
And restore my everlasting light.
