This face
plays on a sometimes stage
where applause isn't heard
on my pillow of forgotten dreams.
I remain closed
like an abandoned song
not good enough to hum
in a world of wet lashes ~
on the other side of him
remembering smiles
and white ribbons
that fell across my voice
loving him then...
And so it's over
and I pout my lips
in a shadowed curve
that he can no longer reach
wishing I was in the same room
that was once a summer's day.
I'm still attached
by tiny feet
that run between the vows
though he's out there
and I'm tucked away
crying...

Sad write here
So often the women hide away in sorrow when the other love of their life leaves yet the thing to do is just the opposite . You fix yourself up to the max and strut your stuff because men will always be men and if they are a looker they will see you as the beauty you are and for you to show him your alright with that will drive him insane . Dont waste the tears nd the lost days on someone who can leave you like that find someone worthy of your love you have within
