You were my last hope
And you didn't even know it
Now I'm alone again
With no place to show it
When will I die?
When will I ever learn?
That no one cares
Not even you
Impossible
Yet true...
Author notes
What am I chasing? A false hope? A diminished dream? A love I felt was meant to be? Wouldn't be the first time... certainly not the last...

This poem is dark - I mean really dark! -I can barely read it--- It feels like you created this background on purpose to express, maybe, the darkness in your thoughts and words.
I do care, by the way. Please don't give up the struggle. There's a buddhist saying that we are born into suffering and we will surely leave this life in the same way.
We live for others as much as we do for ourselves. You're going places poet! you have a gift that in these times -is very rare indeed.
