Suffocating

Suffocating in a coffin
How many times has it been
To light a match I'd be a fool
To lay still I'd surely bore
They find it fun to bury me for they know I cannot die
But I have no means of escape
Maybe next week they'll let me out
If not then I'll have to wait
Two weeks isn't two long in an eternity

I like the poem. it was almost humorous, sorry if it wasn't meant to be but the narrator just seemed fed up with everything and resigned to wait it out.. AND IT MADE ME CHANGE MY AGE SO THAT I COULD READ THIS FOR NO APPARENT REASON SO I AM BUGGED WITH YOU STUCKINABOTTLE!!!!! grrrrrrrrr that bugged me as you can see. well, good poem!
