Even at the end
her message was clear,
with the wisdom and knowledge
of one who had lived
within integrity's cloak.
At peace
with her life
see saw family
as her greatest achievement.
The richness of life
and memories she left
were the gifts she bestowed,
urging them,
not to forget,
but to constantly reminisce,
carving out
an even more prosperous future
for generations.
Dwelling within sorrow's dark realms
would be neither productive
nor do justice
to all she had done
and was.
Even in death
she is not silent,
as her shining spirit
and echoing words
still light the path
of tomorrow.
her message was clear,
with the wisdom and knowledge
of one who had lived
within integrity's cloak.
At peace
with her life
see saw family
as her greatest achievement.
The richness of life
and memories she left
were the gifts she bestowed,
urging them,
not to forget,
but to constantly reminisce,
carving out
an even more prosperous future
for generations.
Dwelling within sorrow's dark realms
would be neither productive
nor do justice
to all she had done
and was.
Even in death
she is not silent,
as her shining spirit
and echoing words
still light the path
of tomorrow.
Author notes
"It's too late when they've gone to shed a tear,
nature won't change...though the ways
it was part of yourselves you were keeping near
for the old one was all your yesterdays.
And the old one would say, "Look to your son,
please my dear, waste not your sorrows.
I'm at peace, at last my day is done-
the children are your tomorrows."
