Very cool. I really liked the first two lines. They caught my attention and kept it there until the end of the poem. It seems incredibly sad even though you don't stress how tragic the whole Joan of Arc thing was. Thank you for entering.

Short, but strong. I like the line about the lily and just the short little slice of her life you give us.

What a powerful woman, so full of faith!

Rouen is a town in France, the place where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake.

This piece may be short but it holds a lot of meaning. Sometimes simplicity can say a lot more than long, convoluted poems filled with intricate descriptions of every drawn-out scene.

Too much here for such few words

This is one potent poem! So much is embedded in these few words. The mind reels with possibilities. Great!

    Impressive, truly!

Words do something fine here to make the reader feel that an important event has happened, quite beautifully... with a writer's mind and the pen.
