I just gave away all my points
but deserving of much applause. -
This does evoke a certain setting - I am in love with Rouen, too.

-
-
I'm hoping to visit this place one day.

I like this I think it could have been better if it was longer but I like St. Joan of Ark I think that she was very misunderstood...well written I'm not adding to finalist yet...but I will keep the page updated....

This is beautiful hun, I loved the brevity of words but not of imagery and emotion. Truly excellent. Hugs, Bunny

-

i didn't know who you was writing about until i saw in author's notes who it was. she knows infinity beyond this world. st Joan of arc was executed by the english after leading the french against them. nice tribute of her. and thanks for entering.
-
Very cool. I really liked the first two lines. They caught my attention and kept it there until the end of the poem. It seems incredibly sad even though you don't stress how tragic the whole Joan of Arc thing was. Thank you for entering.
-
Short, but strong. I like the line about the lily and just the short little slice of her life you give us.
What a powerful woman, so full of faith!
Thanks for entering.
-
Oh this was short sweet and very beautiful; I loved the ending
she knows
infinity waits beyond this world -

-
i like this, but i wish there was more. i didnt understand who this was about until i read the other comments. good write
-
St. Joan would applaud you and so I...

-
Thank you so much!

short and sweet

Short, but amazing write. May you tell me what rouen
means, I've never heard of it and am curious. Great write and best of luck to you. -
-
Rouen is a town in France, the place where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake.
-
-
This piece may be short but it holds a lot of meaning. Sometimes simplicity can say a lot more than long, convoluted poems filled with intricate descriptions of every drawn-out scene.
-
This is short what you have written here, but it's definately something the reader can keep on pondering upon.
I really did like this one
Thank you for entering the contest, I wish you the very best!

Too much here for such few words
This is one potent poem! So much is embedded in these few words. The mind reels with possibilities. Great!

-
Impressive, truly!
Words do something fine here to make the reader feel that an important event has happened, quite beautifully... with a writer's mind and the pen.
