~Divine Romance~

In effortlessness,
your presence fills
the dry cracks of my heart; once a desert wasteland,
simply by the laughter
Haha-ing from your lips--
Laughing at my 'Oopsies!'

Milk spilt on your pants,

Covered in Shamrock,
a kiss for my forehead

Ceci vous êtes, Divine Romance~

Author notes

The last line says "This You Are, Divine Romance". =]
A representation of a silly moment with my husband, where Romance thrives. =]

Silly moments are sometimes, the most memorable. There is a song that talks about how his girlfriend backed his truck into something and crashed it, but the look on her face and the words that came out of her mouth, sent him bursting into laughter, that he couldnt even be mad at her for recking his truck... that is what your poem reminded me of. Love is born in these moments....
