Alone.

I love my home.

The waves crashing up against the sides of the mansion,

just watching the paterns and repetative crushing of the side of the cliff,

In which my beloved home lies.

Strange things have happened in this house.

Some say it's haunted.

Some say a murder was committed here.

But you know what I say? I say its my home.

I am here all alone, with nothing but the giant dining rooms, and gigantic libraries to comfort my loneliness.

This mansion has been abandoned for many years.

There are spider webs in the corners and as you enter you can feel the sadness and despair being pressed upon you.

But I will not leave.

I am meant to be here.

Me and this mansion are like one, neither can survive without the other.

Here I was born, here I will die.

Alone.

Wow.. this is sad, intriguingly dark and mysterious.. creepy! I love it! I'm so glad you picked the Haunted Mansion option, hehe. Although I would've expected a love story but it's okay. Master Gracey was alone in that mansion anyway so.. I like it! Well done!

I'm not a religious person myself, I'm a pagan but the poem was good. The second stanza was a bit confusing though but I liked this line:

    Thanks for entering my contest!

this is great, just watch you mention mansion to many times... try replace some of the more common words like sadness with something else, other than that this is a great piece well done
