You say your life is great
Yet you yell
Yet you scream
Yet you cry
You say you've never any time
No time to sit
No time to talk
No time to relax
You say no time for hobbies
Hours of quilting
Hours of sewing
Hours of gardening
You say you're always needed
The toddler grandkids
The "lazy" husband
The elderly mother
You say you only need three things
Just some peace
Just some quiet
Just your life
But woman can you not see
That these are just some petty scenes
In this wonderful game we call life
And you'll not go through without some strife?
Your life is all these tiny bits
So stop right now and have a sit
The mother, husband, and toddler three
Depend on you! Can't you see?
If you give up you'll let them down
Three more faces to wear that frown
Now don't lose faith and don't lose heart
For tomorrow is a fresh new start!!
