Creative mind, heart of gold,
now dry in ink, her story's told.
Riftkin's her name, in AP land,
but to many here, she's simply...Joann.
Devoted hours of thoughts and time,
beautiful poetry, be it free-verse or rhyme.
She's hosted many contest, for me and for you,
inspiring our minds to write something new.
Many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews too,
children and friends...there's more than a few.
Her homepage is filled with trophy's of gold,
and those she holds dear, their names in bold.

I was truly amazed at all that I found.
Beautiful tributes from those who are fond,
of this wonderful poet and their very close bond.
In nine short months she's accomplished so much,
yet, most important are the lives that she's touched.
So, Riftkin, my friend, my fellow poet...
we all love you and want you to know it!
