Blaze

the dame looks at the
fools meddling with

the sea and wind

finding fools distasteful,
the dame shoves
her fists

into the silent earth
  hoping to escape the heartache
  and headache,
those tormenting elements

the dame revels;
her hands in
glorified dirt

latched on, looking
for the fire

not knowing
that it's she,

who blazes like
the morning sun
