bloody walker

warm blood runs down my chest
bullet wounds render my arm useless
no shoes i walk down the beach of the ocean
wet sand on my feet
thirst unquenchable

shotting pain in my ribbs from the stab

no one is there to help

tide rises over my feet feels so good in my toes

blood drifts down my leg to the water

a sceam of agony fills the air i fall to my knees

blood lust to great to handle

one arm to weak to move the other cluches the ground

i slowly stand

drenched in blood i stand tall

take one step and collapse

tide rising over my lifeless body

Wow... Where did the inspiration for this one come? It chilled me to the bone. It's just so... indescribable. This is a great poem and one that is hauntingly wonderful.

I do that quite a lot as well. ^.^ Sometimes the best poems come about in such a way.
