when two worship within making love...

here is our holiness, praise spoken in tongues
becoming oh God, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!
easter echoing within the rising and rebirth
equalling soft-sighed rejeuvenation
of this church where my love and I meet
each others countless commandments,
the only confession offered up
is one of mutual hunger
to worship, worship like this,
as our spirits feel internally
the white-hot heat of candlelit
flickering flame,
we kneel at our own altar
christening a celebration
of revelations...

I love this... the tone, the passion with which it's written... the rushed feeling and somewhat hurried (but in a good way, a damn good way ) flow to it...

in fact, that hurried flow, that rush that I get, feel from reading it, that sense of being rushed during m reading of your pieces (does that make sense?) is one of my favorite things about your poetry!

An intelligent and powerful piece, my poetic friend. I love the way you express making love in terms of religious imagery. Portraying love as a sacred act is not new, but you have brought a freshness to the concept--very well done.

"we kneel at our own altar"

wow, this is beautiful...the genesis of bodies in the temples of love. Now you make me want to kneel too .

Simply beautiful and great application of metaphor - loved this one, poetess and the sense of sacred love and lovemaking you've penned here. This is elegant sensuality!!
