Brother and I leaned out over the railing
the safety net cutting our vision into a grid.
"WATCH THIS." he cautioned
spitting something disgusting
to hit or be hit on it's way
eight hundred feet down.
I swung my right shoe through the glass
and watched his eyes widen
as I climbed through the teeth
and up onto the metal
to walk
tippy toe
on some sheer surface.
"Oh yeah? Watch this!"
Author notes
once upon a time,
we were not afraid of heights.
[Hank had a bad dream, after we went to the very top of the John Hancock tower, that I jumped off and he was suddenly an only child.]

Wow. Ha this is cool, I like just the flung out casual way its said. Written, but seems like your just telling me a story of a dream. Awesome.
