The Gift of Love

Another angel up above
Sending out the gifts of love
This angel flies, he comes and goes
Handing unloved ones a rose
The red petals are worth a smile
I'd rather have one than have a pile
The scent of the rose is unbelievable
Take in the scent, as it's achievable
Take a moment to breathe and relax
To leave your troubles and never go back
So as you're walking down the street
Say hello to friends you meet
Smiles can mean more than is thought
But the loving rose has been love taught

I liked the complexity and structure of this the most, to me it seemed to look and feel like a blooming rose. I also liked the high emotional level and tone that you used. =]

    nevertheless, a surity
    in darkness assumed
of silent iris to encircle in arms.

    Beautifully penned.
